JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to join our team, an emerging leader in the HVAC industry. The primary focus of the Service Manager will be to manage and oversee the service department, with an emphasis on hiring and training new service technicians to ensure that our clients’ receive the highest quality of service.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement hiring strategies to attract and retain top talent in the
service department.
● Manage and oversee the service department, ensuring that service calls are
handled promptly and efficiently.
● Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge
of service technicians.
● Hire and train new service technicians to ensure that they meet the company's
high standards for quality and professionalism.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service calls, work orders, and
customer information.
● Ensure that all service technicians comply with company policies and
procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
● Develop and maintain relationships with clients, responding to inquiries and
resolving any issues that arise.
● Work collaboratively with other departments, including sales and installation, to
ensure that clients receive seamless and comprehensive service.
Requirements:
● A minimum of D1 or S1 license required.
● Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and
develop a team.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and
maintain relationships with clients and employees.
● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a
fast-paced environment.
● Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including safety and
environmental regulations.
● Familiarity with HVAC service software and tools.
● A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
